Description

Natsume Yuujinchou is a light and cheerful anime adapted from the manga of the same name.

The plot of Natsume Yuujinchou revolves around a teenage boy named Natsume Takashi, who has been able to see ghosts since he was young. This ability has made his life difficult; keeping it a secret has become a heavy burden for him.

This changes when he inherits the “Book of Friends”, which belonged to his grandmother, Natsume Reiko, who shared the same ability as Natsume. Takashi starts to understand why he was always targeted by both good and bad spirits.

After learning the true meaning behind the Book of Friends, which allows him to manipulate the spirits listed within its pages, Takashi, together with his bodyguard, the infamous spirit Madara, starts a journey to free the spirits of their contracts with Reiko.
